The National Accreditation Committee of Opticians (NACO) National Examinations are held in Winnipeg, Manitoba twice yearly. A sitting of both the Eyeglasses and Contact Lens Examinations are held once in June and once in November. The following are the dates of upcoming examinations:

• November 28 - 29, 2009
  Eyeglasses Examination - November 28th, Location: Red River College, Winnipeg
  Contact Lenses Examination - November 29th, Location: Contact Lens Services, Winnipeg
  
• June 12-13, 2010
  Eyeglasses Examination - Location: Red River College, Winnipeg
  Contact Lenses Examination - Location: Contact Lens Services, Winnipeg
