Opticians and Certified Contact Lens Opticians in Manitoba must be registered to practice in Manitoba by the Opticians of Manitoba. All Manitoba Opticians must pay an annual registration fee to remain licensed to practice Ophthalmic Dispensing in Manitoba. Renewal letters are sent out to all Manitoba Opticians at the beginning of November, with a deadline of December 31st for receipt of annual dues. Dues received after the deadline will be charged a late fee. This rule will be strictly adhered to.
