Manitoba Optician to Carry the Olympic Torch

"Thursday Jan 7, at 8:20 am I am scheduled to carry the Olympic Flame in the Olympic Torch Relay. Please come and cheer me on. On Portage Ave. in front of the Viscount Gort Hotel there will be a marker with the number OTR 070 009 on it. That is the exact location the the torch transfer will take place. This is the best place to watch from. It would be great to see a whole crowd of people out there, cheering, taking pictures, waving flags, having fun. It wont be a long time but it will be a fun time.  Plan to get there a bit early. The run itself only lasts a couple of minutes. I look forward to seeing you there.
