Online Assistance

All NAIT/OAC Optical Science Programs are offered online. Students will find instructional assistance online in the form of chat rooms, online discussions and extra online reading materials. There will be an online instructor dedicated to each year of the NAIT/OAC Optical Programs, who is available via email at any time throughout the year and is also available in a live chat forum at dedicated times each week. Further information is provided in your Student Handbook.

Practicum Field Supervisors

New for the 2007 academic year is the implementation of a Field Supervisor for Eyeglasses and Contact Lenses. The role of the Field Supervisor is to provide assistance and clarification to both the students and the supervisors in regards to the practical requirements of the programs.
