Job Title: Licensed Optician or Contact lens fitter

– Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal preferences.
– Take accurate measurements of customers’ eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit and alignment of eyewear.
– Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and treatments to help them make informed decisions.
– Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to ensure optimal comfort and functionality.
– Maintain inventory of eyeglass frames, contact lenses, and other optical products.
– Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses, including verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations.
– Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

– Optician licence up to date and in good standing
– Strong knowledge of optical principles, lens options, and frame styles.
– Familiarity with medical terminology related to vision care.
– Proficient in using optical equipment, such as lensometers and pupilometers.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
– Experience with retail sales or retail management
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends depends of the location.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $57000-$67500 for full time hours per year based on experience plus manager bonus if selected for store manager. Details will be presented upon interview
